My name is Travis Young, I am the owner of Forever Young DJ
I’ve been DJing since 2005. My journey started at my sister’s 16th birthday party, where I met Chris Witt of All Occasion DJ and Karaoke. I was immediately drawn to the energy of the event and asked if he was hiring. That night, Chris had me help tear down after the party and offered me a job on the spot.
From that moment on, I was hooked. Chris was an incredible DJ, mentor, and friend who taught me the foundation of everything I know today. I spent nearly three years working alongside him, learning not only the technical side of DJing, but also how to read a crowd, create the right atmosphere, and make every event memorable.
After Chris passed away in October 2008, I decided to honor everything he taught me by starting Forever Young DJ.
It didn’t take long before people throughout Fort Worth and the surrounding areas began reaching out for help creating the perfect soundtrack for their special events. I always knew music was my passion, but I never imagined it would become a career. Today, I have the privilege of bringing energy, personality, and unforgettable memories to weddings, proms, birthday parties, corporate events, and more.
Forever Young DJ is a family business that I proudly run alongside my wife, Samantha. One of the most rewarding parts of this journey has been teaching my kids the craft and passing along the same passion for music and entertaining that was passed on to me. It means a lot to share this with my family and watch the next generation learn what it takes to create unforgettable events.
